This year Wallace Parks & Recreation will be hosting the Carolina Strawberry Festival 5K. WPRD is currently working on a project that would allow children with disabilities to be able to have a safe and accommodating playground to enjoy. We believe every child regardless of disability deserves the opportunity to have a normal childhood. Together we as a community can have an opportunity to play a part in making this happen! All proceeds from this year's 5K sign-ups will go to help fund the new Inclusive Playground at Clement Park!

Be part of one of the oldest and most iconic races in Wilmington, NC & join us for the annual Tri-Span 5K, 10K & Livestrong Mile.
Both 5K and 10K courses wind through historic downtown Wilmington and along the picturesque Cape Fear Riverwalk which hugs the bank of the Cape Fear River.
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a FREE health and wellness program specifically designed to help adult cancer survivors reclaim their health. Participants meet twice a week over a 12 week period, working with Y staff, to safely achieve their wellness goals and develop supportive relationships along the way.
All proceeds from the Tri-Span 5K & 10K support the Livestrong at the YMCA program. Our survivors are very important to us and that is why we love to support so many great causes like Tri-Span.
